The plastic rear end spoils the look.The metallic dome on the older models was superior. Despite my own reservations due to personal taste and usage, this is a great pencil.

Its quality and finely graduated degrees of hardness have made it a firm favourite with artists and illustrators.

Its lead is fully bonded with the wood surround and is therefore particularly break-resistant.
